Your Right To Choose...

It's your car. Make sure it's in the right hands.

Insurance companies are keen to arrange your repairs at their preferred body shop to keep costs down for their own benefit. This could mean your vehicle may be repaired with non-genuine parts or products and untrained technicians. As a result, your warranty will be invalidated by your manufacturer. You do not have to use your insurer's choice of repairer. Your rights regarding this were confirmed by a directive from the Office of Fair Trading issued in 1993.

It's always worth considering the following:

Are you comfortable letting your insurance company
have control of your accident or damage repair work?

  • Will original manufacturer or non-genuine parts be used?
  • Does the bodyshop have a dedicated team that is always on hand to update you with progress?
  • Will you get the service you expect?
  • Will your manufacturer's warranty remain intact?

Your car is probably your next biggest investment after your home, how do you know it’s been repaired properly, is it structurally safe, has it been repaired by a qualified technician? All these questions and many more can be put to the back of your mind when your vehicle is repaired by ourselves.

Your vehicle will be repaired to pre-accident conditions by fully qualified technicians using manufacturer approved repair methods, parts and paint.

Accident repair centres all over the country have insurance approvals, but may not be inspected or audited, but here at the Paint & Body Shop we are regularly audited by our Manufacturers and British Standards to guarantee correct procedures are maintained throughout the repair process.
